Honda Aircraft Company Establishes Japan General Aviation Service as the Official HondaJet Service Center in Japan

Honda Aircraft Company (HACI), a subsidiary of Honda's aircraft business, established Japan General Aviation Service Co., Ltd. (JGAS) in Japan to improve HondaJet's service and customer support system in Japan.

Japan General Aviation Service Co., Ltd. designated as the official HondaJet service center starting April 1 2024. JGAS also provides various after-sales services such as service and maintenance for the HondaJet.

HACI has authorized service centers located throughout the world and provides high-quality after-sales service and support to each customer through a global network.

In Japan, JGAS will take over service operations managed by Marubeni Aerospace Corporation since sales of the HondaJet Elite began in June 2018. JGAS has years of jet business knowledge, and has maintenance facilities certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in Tokyo and Kagoshima.

In addition, through a sophisticated spare parts supply system it will quickly deliver aircraft spare parts throughout Japan.

Thus, HondaJet customers in Japan get a shorter time to get after-sales service, and also receive high-quality after-sales service more quickly.

Apart from that, starting in April 2024, Honda will also change the HondaJet sales system in Japan which will be handled directly by HACI. At the same time, JGAS also opens a Customer Service service for customer questions regarding the HondaJet and provides sales and after-sales support.

Hideto Yamazaki, President and CEO of Honda Aircraft Company said “Since we started selling the HondaJet in Japan in 2018, we have expanded our type certification procedures and sales and service activities in Japan based on our strong partnership with Marubeni Aerospace, and have achieved many results.

Once again we would like to thank Marubeni Aerospace for its support. "From now on, together with JGAS, we will contribute to increasing customer satisfaction through sales and services that are increasingly in line with customer needs."

The HondaJet currently has type certification in 14 countries and regions, and has logged more than 210,000 flight hours. In February 2024, HACI delivered its 250th aircraft to customers.
