Now a new airline will be coming to Indonesia, namely Super Air Jet.
New Airline in Indonesia
Super Air Jet is a new airline founded in March 2021. This airline is said to have the flight code "IU" from IATA (International Air Transport Association) and "SJV" from ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization).
Super Air Jet Director, Ari Azhari said, Super Air Jet is a new private airline in the category of daily scheduled passenger transportation services originating from Indonesia and is wholly owned by local (domestic) capital participation.
Super Air Jet is currently preparing for the take-off phase through various stages and required procedures.
Economical Cost Concept
The airline's main focus is to offer a low-cost concept with direct point-to-point intercity flights in the domestic market. Later, it can expand to international routes.
As stated by the Director of Super Air Jet, Ari Azhari, in the initial stage, Super Air Jet will operate the latest generation fleet, namely the Airbus 320-200 with a capacity of 180 economy class seats.
Super Air Jet also targets potential passengers from young people, who need cheap flights for business and tourism purposes.
Super Air Jet is preparing to reach this market through the 'super cost' concept, namely offering low-cost airline services.
