Currently, the DFSK Gelora E is the only commercial car in the country that carries electrification technology. As a pure electric car, in terms of maintenance, of course Gelora E is easier than any commercial car that still carries an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) type engine.
However, the owner or user is also required to check a number of components so that their conditions remain optimal.
"DFSK Gelora E as an electric vehicle also still requires periodic condition checks and maintenance," said Marketing Head of PT Sokonindo Automobile, Achmad Rofiqi, through his official statement.
And here are 5 ways that must be done for electric car maintenance, especially DFSK Gelora E.
1. Must Check Radiator Every 60,000 Kilometers
Even though they don't use engines with a combustion chamber system, electric cars, especially the DFSK Gelora E, each have a radiator. For that you are required to check every 60,000 kilometers.
The function of the radiator in this car is none other than to cool the battery and electric motor so that the temperature remains stable.
2. Understand the Guidebook
Electric car owners are also required to read the vehicle manual. Here there is all technical information related to the vehicle owned.
You could say electric vehicles are new charcoal for the majority of users. There may be important aspects that are not known, and all of that information is in the manual.
3. Replace the DFSK Gelora E AC Filter Periodically
In order to provide comfort while driving, DFSK Gelora E has been equipped with an air conditioning system or what we know as AC.
Even though it is not directly related to the performance of the vehicle, AC maintenance on electric cars is also mandatory. One of them is changing the AC filter regularly when the air that comes out is no longer fresh.
Apart from keeping the air in the cabin fresh, changing the AC filter regularly can also maintain the health of each user.
4. Changing the Axle Oil
To make it run, the rotation generated by the electric motor on the DFSK Gelora E is then forwarded to the rear-wheel drive. Before arriving at the wheels, round first to the axle (differential).
Inside the axle there are various components such as gears, bearings and other metal materials that require lubricant so they don't wear out easily. The axle oil period itself is carried out every 20,000 KM or 12 months of use.
5. Perform Service and Checks at Authorized Workshops Every 10,000 Kilometers
If you have difficulty checking all the condition of these components, you can visit the official repair shop. Service should be done when the car is stepping on multiples of 10,000 kilometers.
