The Latest Generation of the BMW 5 Series Still Has a Fuel Engine, Here Are the Specifications
Even though it already carries an electric drive, BMW still offers the latest generation of the 5 Series in several fuel engine drive options.

Through a webcast broadcast on its official media page, the latest generation of the BMW 5 Series or G60 greets the public in the electric version of the BMW i5.
Even though it already carries an electric drive, BMW still offers the latest generation of the 5 Series in several fuel engine drive options.
The first is the BMW 530e plug-in hybrid which is set to greet consumers in spring 2024 with the 550e xDrive.
The 530e variant carries a turbo four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,998 cc which is capable of spewing out 187 hp of power and 310 Nm of torque.
Working together with an electric motor with 181 hp, the 530e has a combined system power of 295 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
For the 550e xDrive, it is equipped with a larger engine, namely a 2,998 cc turbo six-cylinder that produces 308 hp of power and 450 Nm of torque.
Combined with a 145 kW or 194 hp electric motor, the 550e xDrive offers a combined burst of power of up to 482 hp and 700 Nm of torque.
In addition to plug-in hybrid, the 5 Series G60 is also available with a conventional combustion engine with mild hybrid technology.
Starting from the 520i which has the same engine as the 530e but with a power output of 205 hp and a peak torque of 330 Nm.
Above it is the 530i which has 254 hp and 400 Nm of torque, and above it is the 540i xDrive with a six-cylinder engine.
With a capacity of 2,998 cc, this engine produces 375 hp of power and 520 Nm of torque which is channeled to all wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Finally, there is a diesel which is available in the 520d and 520d xDrive variants and already carries mild hybrid technology.
The new 5 Series diesel engine has four cylinders with a capacity of 1,995 cc, BMW's TwinPower Turbo technology, as well as 194 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque.
