The Suzuki XL7 facelift 2023 will certainly launch in Indonesia on June 15, 2023. This indication was revealed from the upload of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) via the Instagram account @suzuki_id on Tuesday (30/05/2023).
In the upload, you can see a silhouette photo of a car with a background of lights forming the number 7. Then there are the words "Ready for the new energy?" followed by the number 15.06.2023 which is believed to be the launch date of the new Suzuki car.
Changes to the Suzuki XL7 Facelift 2023
Previously, photos of the latest XL7 unit were revealed. It was alleged that the car had begun to be shipped to all of Suzuki's official dealer networks in Indonesia.
The photo that was leaked before the time of its launch is thought to be the Zeta type XL7 which does not adopt mild hybrid technology.
This can be seen from the absence of the Hybrid emblem on the trunk door, as found in the Ertiga Smart Hybrid type.
The changes can be seen in the pinning of thicker chrome ornaments in the center and around the front grille. While at the back, the XL7 facelift is given a duck tail ornament with chrome accents.
As for other body parts, they are still maintained as the previous model, even the design of the wheels has not changed.
Hybrid Variant Only in Beta and Alpha Types
Regarding engine specifications, of the three XL7 2023 variants prepared by Suzuki, only the Beta and Alpha types get mild hybrid technology.
This system will be combined with the K15B engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc which produces 104.7 PS of power and 138 Nm of torque which is combined with a 4-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed automatic.
Just like the Ertiga hybrid, the XL7 will also use the Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) system which includes the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), a 12-volt Lithium-Ion battery, a 42 Ah battery, and an idling stop system.
The price rises to IDR 17 million
As for the price, for the XL7 2023 Zeta type which uses a manual transmission, the price is Rp. 256.1 million, while the automatic one is Rp. 267.1 million.
This means that the lowest type of XL7 will increase by around Rp. 2 million from the current selling price of Rp. 254.8 million for manual transmission and Rp. 265.8 million for automatic transmission.
Meanwhile, the price for the XL7 hybrid which is present in the Beta and Alpha types has not been announced, but it is reported that it will increase by around IDR 15-17 million from the current model.
As an illustration, the current price for the XL7 Beta is around IDR 271.6 million for the manual transmission and IDR 282.6 million for the automatic one.
Then for the manual XL7 Alpha Rp. 281.7 million and Rp. 292.7 million for the automatic transmission.
