Force Motors, which is a car manufacturer from India, was recently reported to have developed a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that can accommodate 10 adult passengers and is called the Force Citiline.
It was stated that the figure of the Force Citiline is the newest model in 2023. However, Force Motors itself actually has siblings, namely the Trax Toofan and Trax Cruiser which have been quite famous since the 90s and entered a segment called the MUV or Multi Utility Vehicle.
Force Citiline Has a Design Similar to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class
Talking about appearance, not a few mentioned that the design of this car is similar to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class model, which has a characteristic boxy shape and seems stiff. Another thing that makes this car similar to the G-Wagen series is the hood and body lines that are quite thick.
It's just that as a differentiator, the Citiline headlamps are made not rounded, but boxes with large sizes and stacked. Likewise, the grille matches the body and the Citiline logo in the middle, so it's even more different.
It is known, with such a shape, the Citiline has a length of 5,120 mm, a width of 1,818 mm, a height of 2,027 mm and a wheelbase of 3,050 mm.
Uniquely, even though it is extra long than SUVs in general, this car still has four side doors, for access in and out.
As mentioned above, this car can accommodate 10 adult passengers in the 2+3+2+3 formation, where the third row is designed like a captain's seat, so that in the middle there can be access for rear passengers.
In addition, in the second row, the seats can be folded in a ratio of 60:40. While the second and third row can be lifted. To provide a sense of comfort, this car is also equipped with air conditioning which is stored in the back row.
Use Common Rail Diesel Engine
In order to be able to carry a large number of passengers, this car is equipped with a 2.6-liter four-cylinder Common-Rail diesel engine that produces up to 90 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque.
With this engine, the power generated is channeled to a five-speed manual transmission. As for supporting the long chassis, this car is equipped with a double wishbone front suspension combined with a leaf spring arrangement at the rear where the drum brakes are located.
In addition, for the legs of this car, it is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 215/75 tires. The braking system already uses the Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) and is assisted by Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD).
