In an effort to make a comeback to Indonesia, Citroen, which is the agent of the Indomobil Group, has prepared a variety of new cars for consumers in the country.
Not only cars with internal combustion, this French brand promises to bring electric cars for Citroen loyal customers.
"The second year we plan to bring several new products to Indonesia. Currently there are three models, next there will be other models. The second year there should have been another electrified car. Currently we already have the e-C4 even though the segment is above.
We hope that electric cars can bring affordable prices," said Tan Kim Piauw, Advisory Board, Indomobil Group in an iftar event with the media, Wednesday (5/4).
Until now, PT Indomobil Wahana Trada has not been able to confirm which car model will be imported into Indonesia. His party and stellantis are still conducting various studies as to which model is suitable for us to bring to Indonesia.
"Regarding the selection and models are still in discussion. What is certain is that next year we will bring more models, especially for pure electric vehicles.
In the future we will also bring more new vehicle models, especially electric cars that are suitable for Indonesian people," said Tan Kim.
Citroen Will Deliver New Customer-Ordered Cars This Month
Brand name automotive manufacturer from France, Citroen through PT Indomobil Wahana Trada will deliver the first 50 units to consumers in April. The units sent are SPK from several event activities and exhibitions that have been participated in so far.
"Dozens of vehicles are currently on their way to Indonesia. The delivery plan is to be carried out at the end of April or at the latest in early May, "
From when it was first launched until now, Citroen has 3 models. For models that are shipped, it is dominated by C3.
"For the most orders from Citroen C3 (Specifications | News) it reaches 90%. The rest are C5 Aircross and e-C4 electric crossovers," he said.
Citroen C3 dominates sales because it has a shape that is no less attractive than its closest competitor and emphasizes the practicality of driving.
