Taking advantage of the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week or GJAW 2023 event, a premium car brand from Japan, Lexus, also introduced its newest car, the All New Lexus RZ 2023.
According to General Manager of Lexus Indonesia Bansar Maduma, the Lexus RZ 2023 is an electric car that comes from the Lexus LF-Z Electrified Concept car, which participated in the 2022 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
"This car has finally been realized through The All New Lexus RZ. Of course, the presence of electric vehicles that are increasingly complete and diverse also shows Lexus' commitment to providing personal luxury," Bansar claimed in his speech at JCC, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (10/3 /2023).
Bansar said, by presenting the All New RZ, this can broaden loyal customer choices and reinforce commitment as a Luxury Automotive Brand with The Most Complete Electrified Line-up which has a wide selection of electrified vehicles.
Interesting Things about the Lexus RZ 2023
With the presence of the All New RZ, said Bansar, this is a new chapter in the era of Lexus electrification which combines elements of Lexus Electrified, Limitless Design, Lexus Driving Signature and Human Centered Technology.
Bansar further stated that the RZ is a car that carries the concept of "Seamless E-Motion" to provide a different identity from a BEV vehicle. This is because the RZ has gone through design and proportion developments.
At first glance, outwardly, the All New RZ is claimed to adopt the Spindle Body Concept design language which focuses on aerodynamic efficiency, thus evoking a new driving experience with seamless acceleration and dynamic experience especially for BEVs.
This car also has the Lexus Driving Signature, thereby giving the Lexus RZ a natural driving experience according to the driver's intuition and intentions thus providing a more immersive driving experience.
RZ itself has adopted Direct4 Technology, making this model a full All-Wheel-Drive system to anticipate all driving needs, which is a form of Omotenashi on the Lexus model, allowing the driver and passengers to get the most natural sensation.
Electrical Engine Performance
For the pacemaker, the All new RZ is equipped with a lithium ion battery with a capacity of 71.4 kWh, where this power can make the car go up to 310 kilometers away.
When charging it only takes 28 minutes relying on fast charging mode. Of course the owner can save time when using it. Then pinned electric motors on the front and rear wheels. Making it have a maximum power of 208 hp and a peak torque of 435 Nm.
