Recently, Kia Corporation launched its newest line up, which is the older sibling of the EV6, namely the Kia EV9 2023. To note, the EV9 is the first 3-row electric SUV from a brand name manufacturer from China that brings sophistication to driving.
In contrast to the EV6 which implements more indentation lines on the body, the EV9 displays a more boxy design. Even so, this car still adheres to Kia's design philosophy, namely 'Opposites United'.
Looking at the facade, this car gets a touch of 'Digital Pattern Lightning Grille'. The grille adheres to the iconic Kia car, which in the EV9 is called the 'Digital Tiger Face'.
In the headlamp, the lamp is a vertical stacked model. In addition, this car is also embedded with attractive LED DRLs. Overall, the car is largely unchanged from the EV9 Concept that was revealed in 2021.
Shifting to the side, this car has a polygonal shape that is made together and displays an aerodynamic impression. The indentations on the wheels are made geometrically which seem to stand out. At the stern, the EV9 looks wide and at the same time futuristic with the shape of the stop lamp that is displayed.
Built based on the E-GMP platform which is also used by the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5 (Specifications | News), this car looks long in terms of wheelbase which presents a spacious cabin. Available in a choice of 6 and 7 seats, everyone in it can freely carry out various activities.
Kia EV9 Second Row Seats Rotate 180 Degrees
Looking at the interior, the dashboard of this electric car is made roomy which can increase driving visibility. For the entertainment system and the instrument panel, they are made connected with a floating model, each of which has a size of 12.3 inches.
Like the Carnival, the Kia EV9 electric SUV for both row seats can be rotated 180 degrees. That way passengers in the second and third rows can face each other.
Until this news was published, the principal had not disclosed detailed information regarding dimensions, battery size, and the electric motor used. It is stated that the detailed specifications of the EV9 will be revealed at the end of March.
