PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia ensures that it will present the Mercedes-Benz EQS electric car at the end of 2022. This was conveyed directly by Choi Duk Jun as President Director.
He said that the presence of the Mercedes-Benz EQS would also pave the way for other electric cars from the German manufacturer to enter Indonesia.
“Looks like it will happen in Q4, starting with the launch of EQS. Then at the beginning of next year there will be more models to complete the portfolio," said Choi Duk Jun in Jakarta.
He explained that currently PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia is making the necessary preparations to launch the car. This includes the homologation problem.
Choi Duk Jun added that the presence of this product was proof of his side's efforts to support the government's desire to accelerate electric vehicles.
“We are also doing what is directed by the government to switch to clean energy vehicles which means fully electric cars. So it's in line with government policy," he explained to the media.
