After a hiatus of several years, the Chevrolet Aveo 2023 has finally risen again as an entry-level hatchback in Mexico. Actually, Chevrolet Mexico still sells the Aveo, but in the form of a sedan called the Chevrolet Sail.
Interestingly, the latest version of the Aveo hatchback was developed by Wuling, which incidentally is still part of the General Motors family. Reporting from GM Authority, Monday (12/12/2022), this hatchback is also the first Wuling global car to use the Chevrolet "bowtie" emblem.
Chevrolet Aveo 2023 Uses Wuling's New Design Language
The front view of the Aveo 2023 looks elegant with chrome ornaments stretching across the grille and narrow lights. This appearance follows the design language applied by several of the latest Wuling cars, such as the XingChi/Alvez SUV, Xing Chen/Asta, and the JiaChen MPV.
Turning to the side, it looks dynamic with the floating roof design. At the rear, you can see combination lamps designed horizontally, as well as the Aveo emblem on the left side of the trunk door.
Use 1,500 Cc Machine
Chevrolet has yet to announce the engine used in the latest Aveo. But most likely it will take the 1.5-liter petrol engine that is still used by the older model Aveo sedan. This machine is capable of producing 107 hp of power and 141 Nm of torque.
This car manufactured in China will come with a number of advanced features that will spoil the driver. Although there are no official photos of the interior yet, the Chevrolet Aveo 2023 will reportedly be equipped with a floating touchscreen head unit.
In addition, Aveo is also equipped with qualified safety features. Like six airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, ABS, seatbelt reminder and parking sensors. Information about features and other specifications will only be revealed in the first quarter of 2023.
