Honda Civic e: HEV and Honda ZR-V With Sports Accessory Concept for the First Time at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023
Honda presented the Honda Civic e: HEV and Honda ZR-V with the Sports Accessory Concept for the first time at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023. The exhibition took place from January 13 to January 15 2023 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Honda is displaying the Sports e: HEV line with the "Feel Sports" development concept on its Sports Accessory Concept vehicles through its two flagship models, namely the Honda Civic in the sedan segment and the Honda ZR-V in the SUV segment.
In addition to the Sports Accessory Concept, Honda also showcased the Honda ZR-V which appears in the Mugen Custom Concept version for the first time where Honda is displaying additions to the aero parts sector as well as performance parts.
The special display from Honda Racing at the Honda booth displays for the first time the Honda Civic Type R-GT Concept which will be prepared by Honda Racing Co., Ltd (HRC) for the Super GT Series racing season in 2024.
In addition, there is also a Stanley Honda racing car NSX-GT Team Kunimitsu used in the Super GT racing event, Team Mugen Motul SF19, Team Mugen Bingo SF19, Honda Civic Type R Mugen Concept, Honda Civic Type R Super Taikyu Race Vehicle, Honda Fit e: HEV Joy Resistance Vehicle and Honda N -One Honda Gakuen Kanto School.
Honda's aim to participate in the Tokyo Auto Salon is as a form of pleasure poured out by Honda in the automotive world and also to show his fascination and passion for the world of racing, both four-wheeled and two-wheeled.
The Tokyo Auto Salon is held in cooperation between the Tokyo Auto Salon Association (TASA), the Japan Auto Parts Aftermarket Committee (NAPAC), the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) and the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF).
The Tokyo Auto Salon event was previously held annually and in 2023 the Tokyo Auto Salon event will be held again offline after a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tokyo Auto Salon itself is the largest exhibition event in Japan with the theme of car modification.
