Jetour T-X Concept, Ford Bronco Cross and Land Rover Defender 90 from Chery

Jetour T-X Concept, that's the name of the car recently introduced by Jetour. Not familiar with this one brand? So, it turns out that Jetour is a subsidiary of the Chinese car manufacturer, Chery Automobile Company.

The T-X Concept is a concept car of the Off Road SUV type. This model is said to be a new line-up of the T-Series from Jetour, which so far is present in addition to the SUV genre and is also available in the double cabin pickup type.

Jetour is actually not a new automotive brand. Chery introduced this brand in 2018 and offers several SUV products. Currently, Jetour's market share is in a number of Asian and Middle Eastern countries. And the company has announced that starting this year it will launch one new model every year.

The figure of the Jetour T-X Concept Alloy Tank 300 and Ford Bronco

If you take a look, the body profile is a mix between two SUV models. On the front it looks like the Tank 300, an SUV from Great Wall Motors. While from the side it looks similar to the Ford Bronco.

According to the platform, the company uses the Kunlun architecture platform. The dimensions are large, the body is boxy, it uses large All Terrain type tires, and the ground clearance is high.

The front fascia uses a flat black grille. The main lights are full LED horizontal bar models. Meanwhile in the center of the grille there is the JETOUR logo which can glow in the dark. This is similar to what Ford implemented in the Bronco.

From the side it has additional fender arches that are made prominent. Then there are also side steps, electric type door handles that are pressed first to open it, and a set of wheels with a large enough diameter with a combination of black and yellow.

From the Rear Like a Land Rover Defender

If from the front and sides the Jetour T-X Concept looks like the Ford Bronco, then from the back it even looks like the Land Rover Defender. The silhouette is boxy with LED tail light. The rear door can be opened in two parts, namely to the side, while the glass is opened upwards.

Oh yes, if you see the big box hanging down like a bunk, this is the spare wheel cover. The shape is similar to the external battery in the Mercedes-Benz EQG Concept. And it turns out that Chery will apply the same thing if it's possible for the sake of the car's cruising needs further.

However, because it is still a concept, the company has not yet shown the interior. But another unique thing that can be found is the full-sized roof rack of the car.

Have Many Machine Choices

Even though it's still a prototype, the Jetour T-X Concept will certainly have several engine options. Starting from the 1.6-liter engine, 2.0-liter engine and 3.0-liter turbocharged engine. Then there will also be a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) and full electric (EV) variant. All of these variants will use a four-wheel drive system (Four-Wheel Drive).

Chery has not released the price that will be set for this Jetour T-X. But company representatives said, the T-Series product line from Jetour will have prices in the range of 150,000 Yuan to 300,000 Yuan. If converted to rupiah, this value is equivalent to Rp. 339 million to Rp. 678 million.

If you look at the price tag, this will compete with the Ford Bronco. Considering that the price for the 2022 Bronco is Rp. 700 million. But when compared to the price of the Land Rover Devender, it's clear that Jetour is much cheaper.
