Honda HR-V vs Hyundai Creta is often compared. Debates about features, machines and prices between the two always arise among netizens. Of course there are pros and cons too.
This time we will return to discussing the Honda HR-V vs Hyundai Creta. But it's no longer a matter of comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the two. But let's see how popular the HR-V and Creta are.
The data we reuse from wholesales is reported by GAIKINDO (Indonesian Association of Automotive Industries). We will also compare sales for the period September 2022 and also January-September 2022.
Honda HR-V is still in demand
GAIKINDO reported that wholesales (shipments from factories to dealers) for the Honda HR-V in September 2022 reached 3,637 units. This figure is much higher than its strongest wholesale rival, Hyundai Creta. Meanwhile, the total wholesale HR-V this year was 17,366 units.
From the data it can be seen that the HR-V type SE is the most in demand. In September 2022 alone, there were 2,140 orders, while the RS Turbo type and S type were both only 719 units. Likewise with the total wholesales of the Honda HR-V SE, which has reached almost 10,000 units.
Most Favorite Hyundai Creta Two Tone
For Creta, Hyundai reports that Creta wholesalers as of September 2022 totaled 1,732 units. Meanwhile, the total wholesalers for the Hyundai Creta for the period from January to September 2022 were recorded at 13,537 units.
There is also something unique about the sales of the Hyundai Creta in Indonesia, considering that the type that uses the Two Tone color is the best-selling model. This color variant is specifically available on Creta Prime IVT type.
From GAIKINDO's data, Creta Prime IVT Two Tone sold 1,094 units last month, while Creta Prime IVT only sold 212 units. The difference isn't very big, but Creta is still outselling the HR-V.
