The 2022 Nissan Juke Hybrid was recently introduced in the UK. As an eco-friendly compact crossover, this car is offered in four variants. For the N-Connecta model, the basic trim costs £ 27,250.
Nissan says the new hybrid powertrain used in the second-generation Juke combines "the pleasure of driving with outstanding efficiency and lower emissions".
Regarding the pacemaker, all the variants offered use a 1.6-liter petrol engine with an electric motor. The combination of the hybrid electric system with the conventional gasoline engine can generate up to 143 hp.
As a future technological step, the Nissan Juke Hybrid is equipped with an e-Pedal. Like other fully electric Nissan vehicles, this feature allows the car to receive electric power through regenerative braking when releasing the gas pedal. Not only that, the accelerator pedal can also slow down the vehicle automatically while simultaneously charging electricity to the battery.
Adjusting the driving style, the driver can use the e-Pedal step mode via the dashboard button, and also has the ability to drive using only electric power. Nissan claims that up to 80% of driving on the Juke Hybrid can be done in EV mode.
The iconic appearance of the Nissan Juke Hybrid has changed a lot
Compared to other Juke with conventional gasoline engines sold in several countries, this hybrid version has several changes to its appearance. As in front, the grille is made narrower to reduce air resistance.
Apart from that, Nissan also equipped it with a hybrid emblem as a marker. Changes to the instrument panel include a new display to show the status of the hybrid system, as well as battery charge.
Especially for the Premiere Edition, at its launch, Nissan only provided 750 units priced at £ 28,250 or around Rp. 508 million. Appearance-wise, this edition is offered with black 19-inch alloy wheels, black headlamps and new exterior graphics. On the interior side, this section is also dominated by black, where the seats are wrapped in synthetic leather.
