The Honda WR-V uses a 1.5 L i-VTEC DOHC inline 4 cylinder DBW, 16 valve engine that has a maximum power of 121 PS at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm, which is the largest in its class. The Honda WR-V uses a CVT transmission with G-design shift technology that produces powerful acceleration performance and has an increased fuel efficiency of 4%. Powerful engine performance combined with a CVT transmission helps the driver feel pleasant when driving through various road conditions in urban and out of town.
The Advanced Technology
The Honda WR-V is also equipped with first-in-class features such as the Walk-Away Auto Lock which functions to lock the door automatically a few moments after the driver has walked at least 2 meters or more from the car. The Honda WR-V is also equipped with features such as Remote Engine Start which functions to start the vehicle engine and air conditioning automatically before entering the vehicle.
The Honda WR-V is also equipped with Honda LaneWatch technology which gives the driver a wider view of the blind spot area. Smart Entry System to make it easier to enter the vehicle without using a key and Auto Foldable Side Door Mirror with LED Turning Signal where the mirror can close automatically when the car is locked.
The Honda WR-V has a rear camera that can show a top view, normal view (130°), or wide rear view (180°) when the transmission is in the Reverse position. There is an Auto Headlight feature on the Honda WR-V RS with Honda SENSING, which is a headlight that can turn on automatically when lighting conditions are low and when the car lock is open and turns off a few moments after the car is locked.
