Latest RTX Series Official Specifications

NVIDIA's flagship graphics card this time is embedded with 16,384 CUDA Cores, has 24GB GDDR6X VRAM, 384-bit memory interface and is capable of running with a boost clock of up to 2.52 Ghz. The 4090 series also has a power rating of 450 Watts.

As for the 4080 series, it is slightly different because it has two variants that are quite far from the spec side. The highest variant has a 9728 CUDA Core, 2.51 Ghz boost clock, 16 GB DDR6X vram and a 256-bit interface with a power rating of 320 Watt. The variant below carries a smaller CUDA at 7680 with a boost clock of 2.61 Ghz, 192-bit, 285 Watt power rating and 12 GB vram.

The RTX 4090 is also claimed to be able to increase frame rate performance by 25% and shader capabilities 2 times thanks to 191 TFLOPS and 83 TFLOPS Shaders and the Shader Execution Reordering (SER) feature. The fourth generation Tensor Core also delivers 5X more Throughput.

The 4000 series graphics cards will feature NVIDIA's 8th generation NVENC encoder which can decode and encode the AV1 codec. In fact, OBS is also confirmed to support the latest version of NVENC thanks to the collaboration with NVIDIA. The recording feature of NVIDIA's ShadowPlay is also upgraded to 8K HDR 60 fps resolution.

Price and Release Date of the Latest RTX Series

Last night's NVIDIA GTC 2022 event only announced the release date of the 4090 series which will be on sale on October 12 this year. As for the 4080 series in November without a definite date. The 4090 and 4080 series will also replace the 3090 series in the market. As of this writing, NVIDIA has not confirmed the release of the 4070 series of graphics cards and below at least until the end of this year.

The RTX 4090 is sold at a price tag of 1,599 United States Dollars or around 24 million Rupiah. The RTX 4080 starts from US$ 899 or around 13 million Rupiah for the 192-bit variant and US$ 1199 or 18 million Rupiah for the 256-bit variant.
