The latest Suzuki S-Presso still packs a small 1000 cc engine, 3-cylinder, injector system in each cylinder which is now equipped with Idle-Stop (Idling Stop System) technology. The new device contributes to a more efficient fuel consumption.
The mechanism of action is the same as the Idling Stop System on the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid. It functions to turn off the car engine when the ECU reads that there is no movement, for example when at a red light or in a traffic jam. When you want to start the engine simply by stepping on the clutch or gas pedal.
Not only does it make fuel consumption more efficient, the presence of these features also affects the exhaust gas levels. So that the 2022 Suzuki S-Presso is claimed to be more environmentally friendly.
Not only that, the S-Presso is also now injected with dual VVT and dual Jet technology which makes the engine smoother and more responsive. From some of these revisions and updates, the manufacturer says that the results of the fuel consumption of this car are at 25.3 km per liter.
Speaking of specifications on paper, the latest Suzuki S-Presso has a maximum power of 49 kW or the equivalent of 65.7 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 89 Nm at 3,500 rpm. Deliberately comparing with the output of the previous model, it turns out that there is a decrease in power of 1.3 horsepower and the torque is corrected by 1 Nm.
Meanwhile, for safety features, the S-Presso 2022 has embedded the Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist, ABS + EBD braking, 2 Airbags, speed limiter, seatbelt reminder, seat belt with pretensioner and force limiter, until the sensor is parked at the rear. .
In terms of appearance, in general, the design discussed is still identical to the previous S-Presso model. He appears with a boxy visual with a slightly similar grille position to the Suzuki Jimny.
