Lamborghini Sian Roadster Launched Directly Sold Out

Sant'Agata Bolognese - Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini adds a new variant to the electrification line. Lamborghini Sian Roadster -open roof- officially introduced
.
The Lamborghini Sian was previously introduced at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, which only produced 63 units in the world. Now the Lamborghini Sian is available in a roadster option, aka an open roof, but only 19 units are made.

Carrying a hybrid system, the Lamborghini Sian Roadster incorporates a V12 engine and a 48 Volt electric motor to make its power even more ferocious. Imagine, the V12 engine developed by Lamborghini on the Sián is capable of producing power equivalent to 785 horsepower as well as being the largest in the history of an Italian bull. The Sián Roadster also gets an additional 34 horsepower from its hybrid system. In total, the Sian has the equivalent of 819 horsepower.

The power is channeled through a 7-speed ISR (Independent Shifting Roads) transmission to 4-wheel drive. The Lamborghini Sián Roadster can run 0-100 km/h in less than 2.8 seconds and reach a maximum speed of over 350 km/h.

Unlike other hybrid cars, the Sian does not use a battery. As a replacement, the Lamborghini electric system uses a supercapacitor which is claimed to have more energy than an ordinary battery.

Supercapacitors unlike batteries can be directly charged in a faster time and can draw energy as in the braking process. Supercapacitors also don't run out of capacity like batteries, so they can be used for millions of times of charging energy.

The Lamborghini Sian Roadster, which uses the Aventador SVJ platform, can be customized according to the wishes of its owners at the Lamborghini Centro Stile. As a debut, the Blu Uranus color is a combination of the blue of the sky and the green of the field. While the rim with a color called Oro Electrum, as the color that Lamborghini chose for electrification.

Dimensionally not much different from the previous version of the Lamborghini Sian. The roadster variant has a length of 4,980 mm, a width of 2,265 mm and a height of 1,133 mm using a carbon fiber monocoque chassis so that it has a fairly light weight, although Lamborghini did not reveal it.

Unfortunately Lamborghini did not reveal how much the Sian Roadster will cost. Quoting Motor1, this car is estimated to have broken through at US $ 3.7 million or around 53 billion. Interested in buying? Unfortunately it's too late, this wildest roadster has been sold out.
