The Honda Racing Indonesia team racers are determined to continue the positive trend in the third series of the ISSOM national championship car race which will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the Sentul International Circuit, Bogor district, West Java.
Previously in the second series of ISSOM last July, the racers of the Honda Racing Indonesia team managed to clean up the first podium.
Alvin Bahar who drives a Honda Civic Type R racing car won the second series of Indonesia Super Touring Car Racing (ISTCR) 3,600 Max.
In another match, Naufal Rafif Busro who rode a Honda Brio also managed to come out as champion and take the first podium in the 1,200 Indonesia Touring Car Race (ITCR) series. Avila Bahar who drives a Honda City Hatchback RS also won first place in the ITCR 1,500 Master class.
Yusak Billy as Business Innovation and Sales & Marketing Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor said, "In the second round of ISSOM, HRI's young racers have gotten good results, Honda Racing Indonesia's mainstay racers such as Alvin Bahar, Naufal Rafif and also Avila Bahar rose to the podium at each class. We hope their good performance in the second series can continue in this third series."
On the same day there will also be One Make Race racing events, namely the Honda Brio Speed Challenge (HBSC) and the third Honda City Hatchback RS Speed Challenge (HCBSC) ISSOM 2022 series.
In the second series which was held last July, the competition was quite fierce, where in the Rising Star class HBSC race, Rio Bramantio managed to become the winner of the competition followed by Irfan Fauzi. While in the Promotion class Samuel D.B. won first place, while Ferlando Herdian won the Rookie class.
While the HCBSC series is also held in 3 classes, namely Master, Rising Star and Promotion. In the Master class, M. Ferrel Fadhil won first place.
In the Rising Star class, Nabil Hutasuhut won while in the Promotion class, Akheela Chandra won first place.
