Honda CB300F Launches With 300 cc Engine Upside Down
In the midst of the onslaught of scooters, the naked bike still continues to be a segment that Honda has consistently worked on. The manufacturer with the flapping wing logo has just released the Honda CB300F in India with a starting price of Rs 225,900 or the equivalent of Rp 42 million.
What are the specifications and features offered?
Quoting the Young Machine page, this motorbike is powered by a single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 293.52 cc engine, with a bore x stroke of 77.0 mm x 63.0 mm. This engine can produce 24 hp at 7,500 rpm and 25.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. This engine is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission.
This motorbike has a design that is quite aggressive but still elegant. The front headlamp is tapered with the front turn signal on it, attached to the instrument panel. With a 300 cc engine, the area under it looks solid. The hallmark of Indian motorcycles is seen in the shape of the split seat seat and horn model stirrup.
Dimensionally, the Honda CB300F has a length of 2,084 mm, a width of 765 mm, a height of 1,075 mm, a wheelbase of 1,390 mm and a ground clearance of 177 mm. The seat height is 789 mm and the vehicle weight reaches 153 kg. This motorbike has a fuel tank capacity of up to 14 liters.
Moving on to the legs, the Honda CB300F uses a front tire profile of 110/70 R17 and a rear tire of 150/60 R17. The braking system is equipped with 276 mm discs at the front and 220 mm at the rear, and is equipped with two-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).
Interestingly, this motorbike is equipped with an Upside Down (USD) type front suspension which offers stability and minimal vibration. In addition, the rear suspension uses a monoshock model that can be adjusted for hardness and softness up to 5 levels.
As for other features, the lights are full LED, full digital instrument panel, torque control, USB charging socket, then there is the HSVCS voice control feature aka Honda Smartphone Voice Control System. This HSVCS feature is only available in the DLX Pro variant.
Talking about the official price of the Honda CB300F, in India this motorbike is sold from Rs 225,900 or equivalent to Rp. 42.1 million for the DLX variant and Rs 228,900 or equivalent to 42.5 million for the DLX Pro variant.
