GR Corolla Morizo Edition Frame is Lighter and Stronger

The GR Corolla Morizo Edition is made 45 kg lighter than the GR Corolla RZ. This weight reduction comes from the two rear seats that are removed, the use of a carbon fiber roof, and forged wheels.

Regarding performance, the Toyota GR Corolla Morizo Edition uses a 1,618 cc G16E-GTS turbocharged engine, which can produce peak power of 300 hp and 400 Nm of torque.

Especially for the Morizo edition, the 12-valve DOHC engine was redesigned to accommodate the enormous torque.

The Morizo variant is equipped with the GR-Four All Wheel Drive system, with customizable front-to-rear wheel power settings of 30-70, 50-50 and 60-40.

This car is also equipped with Torsen Limited-Slip Differentials (LSD) front and rear which offer increased grip on the tires.

To improve handling, this car uses tires with extra wide grip, namely the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 mounted on 18-inch forged wheels in matt black color with the TGR logo.

Exterior and Interior Feature Update

In terms of appearance, the Toyota GR Corolla Morizo Edition features functional ventilation, with Morizo exclusive front brakes, and a lightweight carbon fiber roof. There are also aerodynamic devices such as a flat floor and rear spoiler.
