The French Bugatti Bolide which now holds the title of the most exotic car

If you're curious what the most exotic and beautiful car in the world looks like, it's the Bugatti Bolide. The French hypercar that now bears the title.

The award was obtained by Bugatti Bolide at the 36th International Automobile Festival which took place in Paris, France some time ago. Bolide succeeded in attracting the attention of the jury in terms of design and character so that it was successfully crowned as the most beautiful hypercar in the world.

Extreme Design

As the most expensive model in the contest, the Bolide is the most extreme Bugatti ever made. The design is characterized by a low body with multiple air ducts, X-shaped LED headlights and taillights. A roof-mounted scooter, a large rear diffuser, a racing-style rear wing and a center-mounted quad exhaust.

According to Bugatti's Design Director, Achim Anscheidt, the Bolide was an entirely new challenge for the design team. "It is an honor for us that the resulting design has won a highly coveted award, chosen by experts in our field," he said, as reported by Carscoops.

In the interior, there are no trim parts that are the same as the Bugatti Chiron. Bolide displays a very low sitting position. And the cockpit is like a racing car, where the steering wheel has a box design with many buttons in the middle.

“There is a clear Bugatti identity in the Bolide cabin. The design is focused on creating a place with minimal distractions and maximum visibility, with the curved greenhouse and control functions literally at the driver's fingertips,” continued Bugatti Deputy Design Director Frank Heyl.

The Bolide was first launched in October 2020 in the form of a concept car. Seeing the overwhelming response from customers, in August 2021 Bugatti revealed a production version of the track-only hypercar of just 40 units.

In concept form, the W16's 8.0-liter quad-turbo engine produces a stunning 1,824 hp (1,850 PS/1,360 kW) on 110-octane racing fuel. However, the production version makes a more reasonable 1,578 hp (1,600 PS/1,176 kW). , but still impressively the widely available 98 octane.

Produced only 40 units

What makes this car even more special, Bugatti only makes it in a very limited edition, only 40 units with a tag of 4.7 million US dollars, equivalent to Rp. 67 billion. The plan is that consumers who have ordered can enjoy the Bolide sensation as early as 2024.

In addition to the hypercar category, the International Automobile Festival also presents other categories. Like the DS Aero Sport Lounge has been named the most beautiful concept car. Then, the Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR won in the futuristic car category, and the Maserati MC20 took home the title as the most beautiful supercar.
